I am in the capital city of nepal and facing daily 2 hour loadshading. It starts each year with the winter season.
You may not know that nepal is the second richest country in the world after brazil. Nepal has so many streams from himalaya towards to southern parth of the country. People says 83000 megawatt of electricity can be produced from this resource but the production is so pathetic. Less than 5% of the possible production is being produced yet. Nepal is in the top of the list of poorest and most corrupt country. If if utilize all the hydropower possibilities then it can be economically strength. Then everything would go smooth. Nepal is itself a poor country so it cannot do any projects on the hydropower so only one thing everyone think good is involvement of other country in the power stations in the Nepal. It may help themselves also.
