Creating a bank account is too complicated in Nepal.

I created a first saving account of mine today. But it took to many time. One thing I couldn’t understand is, they needed two Identity cards. The girl in the counter looked at me quite strangely and said me to go the the marketing department when I said I do not have two identity cards. I’d already left college so I didn’t have college ID card, I didn’t have passport and I don’t drive, so I didn’t even have licence.

They inquired me lots of things. How old I am, what do I do, where do I live, how do I earn money which I’m gonna save in their bank, oh my god, that was so irritating. I was about to say, “I probably earn more than you, kid!”. But I would have to give a big lesson on online money making. Finally they agreed to solve the double identity card thing saying I will have to submit any kind of card, like my academic certificate of any level the next day.
