Guerilla marketing between John Chow and Jeremy shoemaker
Uncategorized October 1st, 2007I saw both of the blogs after very long time today. No wonder, they are the two bad asses who makes money my telling their success stories. I’ve always admired them. Just saw John Chow’s post about his September Income. Hell, he made 20000 USD from a year old blog in a month.
I saw the so called competition between John Chow and Shoemaker in the both blogs. The competition is simply number of RSS subscribers. Who will make more RSS subscribers. Very few people or their readers know that this is nothing but a Guerilla Marketing. Guerilla Marketing is an unconventional way of performing promotional activities on a very low budget. This will help both of them. This looks like a competition from outside but there is a business strategy set by both of them behind it.
Last month same thing happened with 50 cent and Kayne West about their album sales. Kayne west reportedly won the battle but Kayne would not sell 1 million copies in a week nor 50 would be able to sell 60000 copies if they had not announced the battle. That helped both of them and did not any big thing.
