Everyone knows that link building is the major thing to do while doing search engine optimization but in my experience link building takes most of the time while doing search engine optimization. I have been working on link building for one of my site since last 15 months and I’ve been able to made only 20 links. Its really slow process.

Link building is not hard if you have lots of money btw. You can buy a lot of links in a thousand dollar but getting lifetime link is still cost a lot more. Link exchange is only one way to get lifetime link otherwise spending a lot of money. Generally people look at the relevant websites and write email to the webmasters for the link exchange process. But what makes link exchange slow is, those websites which you’ve mailed may not be interested on link exchange. Here are two places in my experience where you can exchange link easily.

1. Forums.
Digitalpoint forum is always a great resource for webmasters so is it for link exchange. Digitalpoint have a very good number of users and lots of them are active in the link exchange section there.  You can use Its link exchange section to find link partners. Only interested people on link exchange enter there so it makes link exchange easy.

2. Link partner websites.
Link2me is one of them. They are the sites which have the directory of the websites available for link exchange. The sites are listed by category and popularity statistics so that its easy to find relevant link partners.
