I’d heard about maholo earlier but when I heard Jeremy Shoemaker talking about this in his radio show I thoght of checking this. When everyone is going machinary and automatic they are trying to be manual and “human powered”. I tried to search the phrase “paid blogging sites” and amazed with the search result. I got this message, “Oops! We haven’t hand-written a result page for “paid blogging sites” yet.”.

And I clicked “why”. Ridiculously they give you the reason why they cant find any search result in such a “highly searched” keyword. And I get into another page where they’ve described their Goal. The goal is more “ridiculous” and “stupid”. Their goal is to ” hand-write result pages for the top 10,000 search terms”. Check the number, 10000. Do they even know how many millions of key phrases are being searched each day? When will they write the result for the thousand of billions of phrases? And what about the millions of new search phrases being created each day? When will they be complete? Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton goes jail each new week and they become hot topic, when will they write other things? Google buys new company each week, when will they write about other?

And they have a so called great facility. Users can request search result for a phrase if there is not any result available. Hell, who returns there later for a search result where user can have more than 100 other search engines? They say they hire people to select the best result, I say its just a waste of manpower and money. God bless them who have funded on this stupid thing.
