Snaps from My Pre-Dashain Trekking
Uncategorized October 30th, 2007Here are some of them.
I’m having trouble on uploading them because of my slow Internet connection. So, I’m gonna post only few of them. Click on the image to see the big image.
This was where we’ve started. Just above Beni Bazaar.
Haha, I washed my head in the way.
My Glass looks cool on this guy.
ha
Do we look like trekkers?
Observing The Himanchal Computer Lab. You wouldn’t have imagine a computer lab with wireless Internet service for free in such a remote place. And the Internet was even faster than in Beni Bazaar. Almost fast like my cable Internet here in Kathmandu.
Kudos for the Myagsese Prize Winner Mahabir Pun. The village is more developed despite of being remote. They have electricity, they have a good school in the village, they are self dependant, I met a woman who is in a domestic pickle factory.
This is hostel huts in the school. This was our first day stop. we lived in this place for that day. There were bunch of girls sleeping in the neighboring and we enjoyed their dirty discussion haha. They didn’t know that we’re listening. They even talking about seeing each others assets, I swear I heard that.
This should be the largest Doko (don’t know what’s that called in English).
There was small streams in every two minutes and the water was colder than the water in Refrigerator.
Sheepherder boy, this boy goes to school as well unlike other poor village kids in Nepal.
There was a big Jungle then, we walked about 4 hour across it to reach our another destination.
We had boiled Aaloo(potato ) to eat.
I wished if I as a acrobat. I would pass the jungle just walking in the trees. The jungle was very thick and we found noone in the way.
This old man takes care of the buffalos here. This shed is in the middle of that big thick jungle which took more than 4 hours for us to cross. He is not sure how many buffalo does he have, may be 60-70.
We lost the way in Jungle and reached here. we have plan to go to this place another day.
All three of us.
It was almost end of the day in this place near that big forest. This place is called Poon Hill and its popular for Himalaya views. It was fog all around so we couldn’t see anything but I felt the never before refreshing air at this place.
This was not the final photo of that day.
Will post other later.
have fun!
