I was hosting some sites with Hostingdepartment.net . And I got problem with one site which are hosted with them. The site was not working . I thought the problem is with my domain and I wanted to change the domain. Everybody said me that host change transfer your site to different domain if you contact them. I contacted them and said them to transfer my site to new domain. They said me to upload backup to the new domain. I think they can do that very easily. I did that. I renamed the backup file and uploaded that. They said the name should be unchanged. I uploaded new backup file with the name unchanged. When I asked them to extract the files they said the backup wont work for other domain. If thats the fact they why did they say me to upload the backup? Shouldnt they be sure what is the solution of the problem first? I’ve hosted sites with so many other hosts and this is the worst support service I’ve ever seen. The support team do not know anything I guess. Now I think I need to change the host.
